Happy Labor
Day to the Daily Bible Crew!
Every
employee, business owner, CEO, manager, charity worker, and retiree plays a
part in making America what it is. We’re a nation with fewer holidays per year and
more work days per week than many of the countries we trade with.
Our labor hours are long, sometime
grueling and many of our efforts aren’t fully noticed by anyone other than God
Almighty. And that’s okay. We do it because it needs to be done. We do it
because we take pride in our trades. But most of all we do it because God gave
us the ability.
God made us
talented, passionate, and His Spirit of excellence has been built into us.
So to all my
gritty American working countrymen, I pray that you have a Labor Day that is
restful, meaningful, and happy. It’s an honor to be a fellow workman alongside
of you all!
