  1. Yesterday I chose this passage...
...one of the elders said to me, "Stop crying and look! The one who is called both the 'Lion from the Tribe of Judah' and 'King David's Great Descendant' has won the victory..." Revelation 5:5

Sometimes all it takes to stop the crying, the sorrow, the worry and the stress is to pause and look to Jesus. Becky and I named our daughter Selah Joy to be a daily reminder of that. 'Selah' is a Hebrew word meaning to pause and praise God. When I see her or think of her today I'm going to be reminded of the power in looking to Jesus rather than to my problems.

  2. Im posting on behalf of Beth Selling

My favorite part of rev 7 was "and He who sits on the throne will dwell among them". It brought tears to my eyes to know that we will be with God and he will be among us. That we will be able to see and be with him in person and experience his amazing love, provision right there in the community of believers, brothers and sisters in Christ and those sealed for redemption as the loving father and protector that he is. Then later to see that he would wipe away every tear, and that I can stop wiping my own tears, even the ones this morning as I read made it that much better. Love, B.
